I also hope that from the various pages of this website, you will be able to find something that helps you to take a ‘pause’ from your busy life of doing, and simply be. Enjoy the peace and quiet that is both around us in nature and waiting inside us, when we make time to gently, bravely, joyfully, re-connect to it. As the wise Sufi poet Rumi once said, ‘silence is the language of god, all else is poor translation’.
I hope we can all find a way to make space within ourselves for reconciliation to the love that is in us and around us. And, by taking opportunities for stillness and relaxation, the ‘deep running wave’ of peace will be able to run through us, even when our lives are full of challenges and seem turbulent. We can learn to find calm amidst the noises of real life, like on this windy beach on the beautiful Isle of Iona, in Scotland.
